Dialectic Behavioral Therapy is an evidence based practice that has provided many of our clients an opportunity to create a life worth living. We know the challenges of making changes in life and wanted to provide an in depth overview of each module and skill. This channel is not just for our clients though, it is available for anyone that wants to learn more about DBT, decrease distress in their life, and learn ways to change behaviors that are negatively impacting their goals in life. Our goals for this series is to: -Educate others on the DBT skills -Increase coping strategies to those wanting to create change in their life -Provide a recording that you can watch as a refresher to the work you are doing in session with a therapist -Provide a new skill for you to learn if you are not currently in therapy -Provide you insight into what a family member/friend is currently learning in their DBT program. Also, hopefully provide you skills and support as well.
