Bridget Couderc, MA, LPCC
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and DBT-Prolonged Exposure for PTSD. DBT is a mindfulness-based therapy model designed to teach people how to cope with stress, live in the moment, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others. At times, I utilize additional modalities including CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), motivational interviewing and Art Therapy.
I have over 14 years of experience in working with individuals aged 12 and older, providing care from a client-focused perspective. It is essential for me to build a trusting therapeutic relationship with the people I serve while assisting them toward making progress with the goals they want to achieve. At times this means working toward a solution and other times it means accepting and processing the reality of what is currently happening in life. Acceptance and change are both valid and important parts. I want to meet you at whatever stage of your therapeutic journey.
My areas of interest include: depression, anxiety, personal growth, ADHD, adjustments/life transitions, PTSD, impulsive behaviors, difficulties in relationships, issues with self-esteem/confidence, unwanted thinking patterns, Autism, borderline personality disorder, self-harm and attachment.
I am also a Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy approved Supervisor and find gratification in supporting other professionals on their licensure path.
